“If you have had a dream of opening your own restaurant, this is your opportunity,” they wrote in a recent post. “It has been run by a husband and wife for over five years and they are ready to sell and move on.”

The couple also owns Holla on Wheels food truck.

The restaurant owners have had a few rough years. Myke told Streetwise in 2021 that business was slow during the coronavirus pandemic, and that takeout and pickup service didn’t take off the way they had hoped.

In April of last year, Myke suffered cardiac arrest, and the couple accrued steep medical bills. Friends set up a GoFundMe page to help with medical expenses, and the medical issues have slowed him down.

A message on Holla’s voicemail said the business is open for pizza night on Thursday and food truck favorites on Friday. Holla is taking reservations for a Valentine’s Day dinner.

The Facebook post said they will continue to host pop-ups and dinner parties until the restaurant sells.

“We stopped doing lunches, as it is way too slow this time of year,” the voicemail message said. “We hope to do more dinners.”

According to the Facebook post, the restaurant is turn-key and “ready to make money.” The building has a full kitchen, wood-fired pizza oven, full bar and outdoor patio. The restaurant owns most of the equipment, except an oven hood, walk-in coolers and pizza oven, which belong to the building owner.

The Hollahans opened the restaurant , 603 York St., five years ago with the goal of serving “local fare, with global flair.”

The menu features entrees with international themes with flavors and recipes from around the world. Many ingredients were sourced from local farmers and growers, and the farm-to-table restaurant changed its menu often.

“After our health issues last year, we are looking forward to more family time and focusing more on our food truck and catering business,” Shannon wrote. “We are also excited to help make somebody else’s restaurant dreams come true! Thank you so much for your continuous support!”
